CSQ 1020, Werte des Lämpchen des Netzschalters

Liebe Braun-Freunde,

Danke. 8)

Beste Grüße
Gerhard

CSQ cables

Hello,

First of all excuse me for writing in english, but my Deutsch is very, very limited.
I'm new here, just acquired a Braun CSQ 1020 preamplifier.
It should be in very good condition, according to sellers words, but unfortunately I couldn't test it yet, because it seams I don't have appropriate cables.
My setup is: Jamo MFB90 speakers (DIN connectors), Dual 601 turntable (DIN output), some tape decks and CD players - both categories have chinch in/out connectors.
I hoped I'd be able to connect at least the Dual TT and the speakers to here the sound, but nothing came out.

I'd be very thankful for any information or link to such helping understand what signals are provided/expected from/to the CSQ 1020 connectors. Surely even better will be to get original interconnects, but searching on the internet I wasn't able to find any.

Kind regards,

Pavlin

Hi Pavlin,

you should connect your Dual 601 TT to the phono input. The Jamo MFB90 can be connected with a DIN-Kabel 5-pin to the LV-Output vorne (front) of the CSQ 1020. You have to switch on the MFB90 manually with the power switch on the back side of the speakers.

Regards,

Raimund

Thanks a lot for the quick help!
I'll try this tonight after work.
Actually I tried that already yesterday, but I'm not sure if I used the front LV output.
Since there was no sound I thought that there may be some specific wiring of the 8 pole LV connector.

Any idea where to get service/user manual for CSQ 1020?

Nice day,

Pavlin

Hi Pavlin,

the 7-pin LV output do have left channel on pin 3 and right channel on pin 5, ground is pin 2 (and 6).

Don´t forget to press the lv button at the front (right beneath the power switch).

Regards,

Raimund

Thanks a lot for the Pinouts of LV connector!

Yesterday I plugged my TT to the phono socket and connected one of my Jamo MFB 90 active boxes to to the LV connector labeled "front". Then switched the Jamo from its connectors pannel. There was laud hum comming out of the box. Nothing like music even in background :-(.
It could be that the Pinouts are different. I'll check that again tonight.

Or may be the preamp is broken (?)

Kind regards,

Pavlin

Hi Pavlin,

sorry I have no manuals to sent to you, but you may look at the pages of FHein in order to buy the manual you want to. The price should be ok.
See http://atelier.tobit.net/ goto manuals and look for CSQ 1020.

Kind regards
Gerhard
