LV 1020

hi everybody
here's a model i can grab in good condition. but the woofer looks here different from the one mounted on the one displayed in the galerie

is it a more recent version of the LV or another type of registered speaker?

Hi Phil,
I can't open your picture (no access to the postimage database), but it doesn't look like a Braun speaker. If I am correct, there is even a tweeter cone on the woofer centre cap (not Braun like)? I am sure, our speaker specialist, Mr. Hebermehl, would be able to provide the proper woofer.

Hi,

Braun used during the production period two types of woofers: one with 8 screws (older type and more expensive to produce) and one with 4 screws only to mount at the front.

thanks for the information, In didn't know that they used two different woofers during the produktion of the LV1020. Anyway, I can zoom in the picture now and clearly recognize the tweeter cone on the woofer. Do you know whether this is original Braun or not? Thanks for your time.

this is not the original speaker. Maybe someone changed it, because of foam problems.

owner says he didn't change them. and they're firsthand items. well, that's what he says... i'll try to know more

speakers arrived home this morning with their matching ctv 1020, a c301 and a black ps500. boomer has definitley been changed... i'll try to settle this with the owner just in case he still holds the original ones. tests and feedback on the whole set to come

can anyone show/explain me the proper connections between the ctv 1020 and the speakers?

no, LV 1020 had a diameter of 30 cm, L 710/715 had diameter of 18 cm. The woofers of LV 720 were the same type as in L 715, but different from L 710.

Sorry, both types have different diameters. ( L1030 25cm 10", LV10 30cm 12" )
