Hello again
New to the forum and very new owner of TG1000 (only two days).
Both channels reproduce/play OK tape recorded on another tape machine.
Signal in the right channel in stereo mode almost not existent and only high frequency part from the music coming in.
Left channel OK
this situation exists in INPUT/SOURCE mode without recording.
After fixing this problem the next step will be to check the recording functionality.
any great ideas how to fix this are very welcome.

I was looking at the schematics and the real board and I am not sure which capacitors exactly you are referring to. if you do not mind giving me exact candidates for exchange that would be great. I would like to try solder them to the board without removing it from the machine.
I am afraid that with do many fragile cables/wires and connections I can do more damage.
I am finding everything very delicate inside and densely packed. some of the wires brake so easily.
also maybe someone has high quality scans or pictures of the service manual TG1000 in particular pages with the boards and clearly visible all the elements and traces.

So I spent some time with exchanging capacitors looking at service manual etc.
No change, tired with lack of success I started to look at my second TG1000 (just arrived) this time in two track version. Connected to audio source-computer and out to amplifier. The same problem no sound in right channel. So much time spent on searching for solution and here we have
The connector-adapter DIN to RCA had bad solder in incoming right channel.
At the moment TG1000 four track plays and records but with so-so quality. 19cm sounds almost ok but my simple cassette deck at 4.75cm is superior.
Slower speeds 9.5 and 4.75 are not even worth mentioning just terrible.
Tried tapes by BASF Agfa ORWO Stilon.
Hopefully some calibration will make things excellent.
