Re: TG1000 loud clicks, pops in speakers during pressing but
Dear Darius,
May I help you again?
A closer look into the service manual tells you this incident will be triggered by FET (T3103/4) driven by T3105. Around this schematic you will find something wrong in best case just a broken wire at st3105 or st2305.
Good luck and regards
Thomas

Re: TG1000 loud clicks, pops in speakers during pressing but
Hello Thomas
I have checked transistors and diodes in the circuit you suggested. They read as a good ones.
Next I followed the cables from the connector st2305 to TAPE/SOURCE switch and afterwards to the edge of the audio board with difficult access to the pins. There was continuity from the control/power supply board to these pins.
I did this because there was no difference in clicking sound in the speakers with the connector st2305 plugged in or not.
Next I thought maybe C3106 was at fault, but with new capacitor no change.
Not sure what caused this but at this moment clicking is not so loud, sometimes quite low with occasional explosion (haha). There is no pattern when very loud clicks while pushing buttons appear.
Just a question, does properly working TG1000 have any clicking sound in speakers when switching play stop rev ff buttons?
